Lord's Taverners picks Capitalize

Youth sports charity Lord's Taverners has appointed Capitalize to assist its two-strong in-house comms team with raising its profile.

The charity aims to promote grassroots cricket in disadvantaged areas and to provide recreational activities for youngsters with special needs. It also funds a number of cricket competitions around the country.

The Lord's Taverners draw support from its high-profile members in the sporting and entertainment worlds - including its president, England cricketer Freddie Flintoff.

Capitalize will use a series of fundraising events to highlight the charity's contribution to sport, including orga­nising a team to run the London marathon on Sunday,  22 April.
