Wildlife man tops media elite chart

PRWeek regular Raoul Shah beat off stiff competition to be named the most important media figure from an ethnic minority.

The Exposure CEO was deemed by Media Guardian to be more influential than broadcaster Oprah Winfrey, Observer executive news editor Kamal Ahmed and MP David Lammy.

But did the supplement's front-page picture do him justice? Shah reveals it was taken after 'a huge launch for Casio in New York'.

'I got home at 5am,' says Shah. 'The tired eyes are a bit of a giveaway that I'm not quite as good at recovering from clubland these days.'

He may be a clubber, but Shah's long-term ambitions are somewhat less hedonistic - apparently he would like to 'dedicate himself to wildlife conservation'.
