London Olympics brief boosts Vero

VisitBritain has turned to London 2012 expert Vero Communications to advise on making the most out of tourist opportunities created by the Olympics.

Vero will work on next year's Beijing Olympic Games as well as in the build-up to 2012, developing strategies to attract events and tourism and boost the UK visitor economy.

‘The Olympics offers a huge range of opportunities to attract tourism to the UK,' said Vero CEO and former London 2012 director of comms and public affairs Mike Lee.

‘These are exciting times in the worlds of sport and tourism."
