Biss picks head for green drive

AS Biss has raided the Energy Saving Trust for its top lobbyist as it attempts to stress its green credentials.

The agency has brought in John Fraser, joint head of corporate and public affairs at the EST, as a senior consultant.

The move shows the agency's determination to attract more clients off the back of the green agenda. AS Biss managing director Sacha Deshmukh said Fraser has been brought in ‘to drive further growth in areas such as environmental and sustainability policy'.

It comes two weeks after Media Strategy MD Charles Lewington wrote in PRWeek (30 March) of how growing concern for the environment had profound implications for public affairs.

Before joining the EST, Fraser worked for Ian Greer Associates, APCO and August. One Communications. The Energy Saving Trust now seeks a head of government affairs to replace Fraser.
