Lewis embarks on expansion

Lewis PR is not seeking outside investment as it ­embarks on a two-year exp­ansion of its global network.

Lewis Europe VP Andres Wittermann said Lewis had ‘plenty of money' to achieve the £1m expansion but could acc­ept ‘further help' if costs prove prohibitive.

Lewis has set out ambitious plans to open 20 new global offices and move away from affiliate relationships. If successful, the plan will see new offices opened in Glasgow, Dublin, Barcelona and Beijing.

The agency is also launching two ‘PR development centres' in ­Munich and the US (probably New York). The programme is to be known as the Lewis Employee Development Prog­ramme (LEDA).

‘There is huge potential for international agency growth in the tech sector,' said ­Wittermann.
