Game picks Slice for PS3 rollout

High-street video game retailer Game has enlisted Slice PR to raise awareness of its brand around this week's PlayStation 3 launch.

It is the first time Game has attempted to generate PR around a specific product launch.

Slice has been briefed to position Game as con­sumers' first-choice outlet for the PS3 console.

Sony's eagerly awaited machine enables users to connect to the internet as well as play games, DVDs and music.

Shine Communications is working on the launch for Sony (PRWeek, 9 November 2006).

Game has more than 400 UK and Ireland stores.
