Mantra promotes FT web services

The Financial Times has brought in Mantra PR as it looks to bolster its web credentials.

The agency will focus on promoting, highlighting online features such as instant market insight tool FT Alphaville.

The FT continues to use Midas PR for the FT Goldman Sachs Book Awards.

Mantra, recently hired by sister title The Economist, was brought in without a pitch by recently appointed global comms director Emma Gilpin-Jacobs.

She joined the newspaper from Time & Fortune in November.
