The agency has been hired by Coloplast, which specialises in urology and continence services. The firm is fiercely opposed to recent proposals by the Department of Health, which it claims could stop it from delivering certain products to patients' homes.
A spokesman for Coloplast said: ‘If these proposals are put into effect as they stand, it may no longer be viable for companies to supply certain products.'
ALSO... Whitehouse has also been hired by the Health Food Manufacturers' Association. The agency has been brought in to spearhead a campaign targeting illegal and unfair competition from Channel Island-based businesses.
The campaign calls for regulatory action from the UK government to protect consumers from potentially unsafe practices.
