The NBA is gearing up for its 11th National Barbecue Campaign this summer, handing a new consumer brief to Hill & Knowlton and a trade accountto Storm Communications.
NBA president Brian George said: ‘The campaign is launching in Ireland and Holland this year, and it is in its second year in Belgium, so we will be using H&K's European network.'
Storm will target the grocery, hardware and leisure sectors.
Maximising opportunities for campaign sponsors, such as InBev's Brahma lager, is key to both accounts.
Publicity will be supported by ‘Barbecue Buses', competitions and media relations.
Nexus director Jon Meakin said it had not been invited to repitch. Meakin said Nexus was in litigation with the NBA and could not comment further.
