GPlus announces staff restructure

EU public affairs agency GPlus Europe has annĀounced a raft of senior management changes.

The consultancy has appointed Nicholas Taylor to the new position of chief operating officer. Taylor, a former managing partner at Luther Pendragon, was previously a non-executive director.

There are also new roles for directors Peter Guilford and Nigel Gardner, who jointly founded the company in 2000.

Guilford has been made senior partner, in charge of the agency's professional offering. Gardner becomes chairman, responsible for driving corporate growth strategy and seeking new markets.

Last year, GPlus Europe was acquired by Omnicom in a deal worth up to £8m (PRWeek, 23 March 2006).

It has informal strategic alliances with several independent London PA consultancies, including Lexington Communications and Luther Pendragon.
