The academy's theme is ‘debt awareness'. Workshops will feature Cunning MD Anna Carloss, Sneeze Marketing head Damon Statt, Frank PR MD Andrew Bloch and Anthony Daniels - best known for his role as C-3PO in the Star Wars films.
More than 100 16- to 26- year-olds have signed up to the scheme, which will culminate in a ‘jaw-droppingly foxy stunt' in central London on 21 April.
The participants will learn about money and debt issues, as well as being taught how to plan and execute stunt ideas to create maximum publicity.
Ian MacGregor, deputy editor of The Daily Telegraph, and Matt Hardisty, group creative director of marcoms agency Naked Comms, are also involved.
The stunt academy is part of the Thrifty Squid Program supported by independent charity ‘v', which was launched to champion youth volunteering in England.The remit of East London-based Kikass is to encourage young people to devise creative solutions to social problems.
In 2003, Kikass's World Aids Day featured a guerrilla stunt in Trafalgar Square. It estimates that over two million young people have taken part in its campaigns.
