Seaton left the WPP agency around six months ago and started work at South-West London-based Red Door last week.
In her new role she is running the agency's consumer healthcare team and replaces Jeannine Nolan, who left after little over three months last year (PRWeek, 12 October 2006).
Red Door consumer health clients include GlaxoSmithKline, Roche Diagnostics and the British Coffee Association. The agency also works with the Motor Neurone Disease Association and the Haemophilia Society.
Red Door managing director Catherine Warne described Seaton - who joined C&W as an account director in 2000 before becoming an associate director two years later - as a ‘highly motivated and dynamic addition' to the agency's management team.
Prior to C&W - where she played a role in the launch of its consumer health offering Elixir (PRWeek, 2 Aug 2002) - Seaton worked at Shandwick International and Nexus Choat.
Clients with which she has previously worked include Unilever (Domestos), GSK (NiQuitin CQ and Panadol) and Dairylea.
Red Door has 33 account handlers working across ethical and consumer health programmes in the UK and internationally.
PRWeek revealed a fortnight ago that Red Door director of global healthcare Annabel Fiddian-Green had resigned after just six months (PRWeek, 23 February).
Fiddian-Green, who joined from a director role at Manning Selvage & Lee, is, however, likely to continue to work with Red Door until June because she has a six-month notice period.
