Teletext readies brand overhaul

Teletext has asked Taylor Herring to promote a major brand overhaul this month.

The firm is keen to raise awareness of product innovations, including better TV services, mobile-based content and a revamped online presence (see Media Analysis).

Taylor Herring has agreed a 12-month contract. Acc­ount director Peter Mountstevens reports to Teletext PR manager Lisa Shackleton. The drive will coincide with a multi-million-pound ad campaign under the strapline ‘No blah blah'.

Two-year incumbent Bra­ben was one of three agencies that pitched for the brief (PRWeek, 27 Oct 2006).

ALSO... Braben has been hired without pitch to promote, a ‘film-centric' networking site supported by the UK Film Council.
