Whitehouse nets ex-Finland aide

The Whitehouse Consultancy has boosted its European nous with the appointment of a former adviser to the European Parliament.

Paula Pohja joins Whitehouse after working in Brussels as assistant to the 100-strong Finnish Permanent Representation to the European Union. Finland joined the union in 1995 and held the EU presidency for the second half of 2006.

Pohja joins Whitehouse in the role of consultant.

Last year, the agency lost director Helen Munro and took on former Labour Party official Phil Royal as second-in-command to founder and MD Chris Whitehouse (PRWeek, 10 Aug 2006).

Whitehouse clients include the European Specialist Sports Nutrition Alliance.
