ABPI turns to FH on 'price' reform

The Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI) is using Fishburn Hedges to advise on how it should react to planned reform of the Pharmaceutical Price Regulation Scheme.

FH is providing media relations and public affairs advice to the drugs industry body as a consultation process into potential changes to the scheme gets under way (see At a Glance).

It was called in to handle the account after a four-way pitch against undisclosed agencies. FH is not believed to have previously worked with the ABPI, although its pharma sector experience includes work for drugs giant Pfizer.

FH has put a three-strong team in place to work on the account: head of PA practice Lucy Burns, consultant David Oliver and board director Simon Burton.
