Hit or miss... John Lewis sizes up
John Lewis achieved national press coverage with its decision to use a size 12 model (pictured) for a new swimwear range. Retained fashion agency Rain Communications said it wanted to hold the campaign until the end of London Fashion Week to tap into the size-zero debate. With plans to change all in-store swimwear mannequins to a size 10, John Lewis says the move is about being honest with customers. The new range will launch in March.
