CONSUMER Wells and Young's Brewing Company has parted ways with Nexus Communications and brought PR in-house. Bedford Borough Council's Joanna Dring has joined as press officer, with a remit that includes lager brand Red Stripe.
CORPORATE Brussels-based Airports Council International Europe has appointed Sarah Clarkson as communications manager to replace Stephen Hogan (PRWeek, 16 Feb). Clarkson is currently PR manager for the European Aluminium Association. She will not be replaced upon leaving next month.
CONSUMER Luxury specialist cruise company Hebridean International Cruises has hired London-based Indigo PR to replace Brighter PR. Indigo won a four-way pitch for the business.
