Moonfruit set for Kaizo campaign

Former dotcom company Moonfruit has brought in its first retained agency to position it as more user-friendly than competitors.

Kaizo will present Moonfruit, which provides a toolkit for building websites, as easier to use and better quality than rivals.

From March, the agency will target marketing publications, emphasising Moonfruit's potential to increase customer loyalty through website interaction. It will also target consumers via case studies in online and special-interest titles.

Associate director Richard Cook said: ‘The fear of internet investment has dissolved and we have seen a resurgence of interest in PR from former dot com firms.'

Cook, who will head the account, reporting to CEO Joe White, worked as PR manager at Moonfruit for more than two years. Moonfruit's current clients include Channel 4.
