Yorks Water turns to Blue Rubicon

LONDON: Yorkshire Water has called in London-based corporate specialist Blue Rubicon to help develop a 'social marketing' campaign.

From September, Yorkshire Water volunteers will help schools design gardens, dig allotments and advise teachers and children how to manage them.

‘As well as raising awareness of the importance of a healthy diet, the water cycle and climate change, this will also help encourage schools make models of sustainability by showcasing renewable energy, rainwater harvesting and composting,’ said a Yorkshire Water spokeswoman.

Blue Rubicon senior partner Fraser Hardie is leading the account, reporting to corporate affairs manager Richard Sears.

The agency won a pitch against three undisclosed agencies to land the work.
