PacketExchange hands job to GBC

Internet firm PacketExchange has handed an international remit to Grant Butler Coomber (GBC).

The B2B tech account is worth in excess of £100,000 and will see the agency attempting to build awareness of PacketExchange in Europe and the US.

GBC partner Sue Grant said: ‘The internet in its current state no longer caters for today’s needs. PacketExchange offers businesses the opportunity to guarantee faster and more reliable transactions, thereby increasing revenues and improving service quality.’

PacketExchange was previously promoted by Splash Communications.

Splash CEO Paul Barrett told PRWeek: ‘I resigned the account last August because it was clear we were just not able to develop an effective working relationship with new people joining PacketExchange.

‘It happens every now and then and I wish them every success.’
