The not-for-profit brand was launched at Live 8 in July 2005, and has secured distribution channels in Waitrose, Morrisons and Total UK petrol stations.
Duncan Goose, director of parent company Global Ethics, explained that by switching to One, consumers would enable clean drinking water to be supplied to hundreds of thousands of African children.
All of the profits from One sales go directly to charity Roundabout.
August.One’s consumer campaign will include a burst of activity around World Water Day on 22 March.
