Brunswick loses Westfield brief

Australian company Westfield has ceased to work with Brunswick less than six months after its top PR man joined directly from the City consultancy.

Westfield, the company building West London’s White City shopping development, this week handed its entire corporate comms and PA business to Jefferson Communications.

The move follows the appointment of Simon Holberton as Westfield’s director of corporate affairs (PRWeek, 1 September 2006).

He said: ‘It makes sense to involve Jefferson in our support. We don’t have a business requirement for a City firm at the moment but if we do then Brunswick would be top of the list.’

Jefferson has worked with Westfield on various past project briefs.
