Former Linklaters chief takes Arup job

Design and consulting giant Arup has brought in Gita Bartlett as head of corporate comms.

Bartlett had previously been consulting for Linklaters and Ernst & Young having left a role as Linklaters’ global comms chief.

Bartlett replaces Olivia Gadd, who has joined Reigate-based agency Tileywoodman as director.

Gadd has a remit to expand the agency and will ­partially take over from co-founder Mark Tiley.

Linklaters is on the hunt for a replacement.

Arup is responsible for design engineering on the main stadium, swimming centre and CCTV tower for next year’s Beijing Olympics.
