Golley Slater HQ shifts to London

Golley Slater, one of the best-known names in regional marcoms, has moved its HQ from Cardiff to London as it considers a float on AIM within the next two years.

Following a review by CEO Chris Lovell, it has restructured its PR business into a national division, promoting Cardiff advertising MD Martin Long to divisional PR MD. Birmingham PR MD Jan Buckingham becomes PR division chair.

Lovell said: ‘For 50 years we have been based in Cardiff, so this is a big development. Eighty per cent of PR and marketing decisions are made in London and we are increasingly handling national work. It is the next logical step for the business.’
