SECpay turns to start-up Babel

Secure online payment specialist SECpay has brought in start-up tech outfit Babel PR after a competitive pitch.

Babel – founded by former Hotwire PR staff Narelle Morrison, Ian Hood and Alexia Sciplino last summer (PRWeek, 4 Aug 2005) – has been briefed to run a business, trade and consumer campaign to raise the profile of the Kent-based firm.

‘We want to do for SECpay what Intel has achieved, in terms of raising the pro-file of an integral brand to the backroom process,’ said Hood.

SECpay was established in 1998 by Mark Feingold and Chris Dipple, both of whom are still actively involved in the company.

As well as Kent, SECpay also operates from Ripon in North Yorkshire.
