Beyrath will join the company in early February from Hammersmith-based medical comms agency Right Angle Learning.
She previously spent around two years at Wyeth, working on UK comms for drugs such as Enbrel, and has formerly worked for Avenue HKM, Cohn & Wolfe and in the Shire Health Group.
Ketchum has also recruited Ogilvy PR Worldwide’s Dafni Kokkidi to an account manager role.
She was with Ogilvy for three years and started work at Ketchum this Monday. At Ogilvy she worked for clients including AstraZeneca and Boehringer-Ingelheim.
SEPARATELY... Group account director Ross Wilkie has quit Ketchum to join Accenture.
Wilkie – who was named Young Achiever of the Year at the 2005 Communique Awards – started this week in a non-PR role in the management consultancy’s health and life sciences group.
At Ketchum, Wilkie worked for clients including Procter & Gamble and the World Economic Forum.
News of the changes come as European health MD Avril Lee, who oversees Ketchum’s UK health practice, goes on maternity leave.
In Lee’s temporary absence the health team is being led by the UK directors Susannah Knox and Sébastien Desprez. Ketchum London chief executive David Gallagher is to become acting European health managing director.
