Bioscience group to stage seminar

Tips on corporate comms, media handling and investor relations are to be shared at a one-day event convened by the BioIndustry Association (BIA).

The Best Practice In Communications seminar on Monday 15 January will offer advice to comms professionals in bioscience companies and related agencies. The aim is to improve their comms with journalists, patient groups and financial markets.

Financial Times science editor Clive Cookson will speak on ‘Bioscience in the media’, while BIA media relations manager Francetta Carr will discuss ‘Comms during a crisis – a case study on Northwick Park’.

Representatives from the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency and Association of Medical Research Charities will also speak at the event, held at the BIA’s headquarters in London’s Belgrave Square.
