Primarily, the campaign will promote the courses – created specifically for the region – to year nine students and
their ‘influencers’ across South Yorkshire.
A regional media relations programme will help promote a new booklet and website designed to inform students, teachers, parents and businesses about the vocational opportunities open to students at GCSE level and beyond.
As part of the campaign, 3 Monkeys will be launching Young People Mean Business Week in February, where year nine competition winners will be invited to take work experience posts with some of South Yorkshire’s businesses.
The South Yorkshire Educational Project was established to try and help develop the local economy.
The brief, led by Katy Evans, is the first from a roster, formed in July (PRWeek, 12 October).
