Hotels database has chosen Lewis PR as its retained agency.

The UK media relations brief will be run by the ­agency’s Manchester office.It will run a campaign targeting the website’s two main audiences: heavy business bookers and leisure users looking for discounted weekend breaks., bought by tour operator First Choice last year for £120m, is ­also based in Manchester.

One-year incumbent, London-based Indigo PR, did not re-apply for the ­account as it lacks a Euro­pean presence. 

Lewis beat four shortlisted agencies to the business.
