The Meriden Marketing name remains owned by former Meriden director Simon Dunn – now an account director at Metia – although it will not be used in the foreseeable future.
The unusual move – which is not being described as an acquisition – also sees companies such as Intel and Fujitsu Siemens Computers added to Metia’s client list.
The staff have already moved into Metia’s offices in London’s Covent Garden.
Meriden Marketing was subject to an MBO late last year, before which it was a division of AIM-listed business services group Meriden Group Plc.
Metia ditched the Write Image name in October (PRWeek, 5 Oct 2006).
It topped PRWeek’s 2006 Top 50 Tech Consultancies league table, with fee income of just under £6m.
