Diabetes UK turns to InHouse team

Nine-month-old agency InHouse PR has been enlisted by Diabetes UK to provide interim PA support.

The charity has turned to InHouse following the departure of its head of press and public affairs Bill Hartnett after eight years.

Hartnett has joined the Royal Society, an independent academy of science in the UK, as head of media relations.

InHouse, co-founded by director Katie Perrior, will assist on a temporary ­basis, aiming to raise its profile among broadcast media.

InHouse was hired by Dyslexia Action on a six-month PA project late last year (PRWeek, 17 Nov­ember 2006).
