DeLonghi reviews consumer brief

White-goods brand DeLon­ghi is reviewing its UK consumer PR support.

The move comes ahead of various product launches in 2007 and could bring an end to a four-year relationship with Northants-based Pink & Black Marketing PR.

An appointment is expected by mid-February, with the winning agency reporting to DeLonghi UK marketing director Giovanni Toffano.

DeLonghi’s relationship with Pink & Black began when former DeLonghi staffer Sarah Burgess formed the agency. She confirmed that Pink & Black would be repitching.

Last year DeLonghi – which makes everything from kitchen appliances to heating products – successfully acquired an 83 per cent stake in cooling-systems firm RC Group.
