Communique MD Honor is replaced

Communique has replaced MD Neil Honor with Nigel Sarbutts, formerly MD of rival Manchester agency Connectpoint PR.

Honor was appointed MD of Burson-Marsteller’s consumer agency in 2005 (PRWeek, 3 Sep 2005), taking over from Communique’s London office launch boss Chris Wood, who joined Cake (PRWeek, 19 August 2005). Honor said he was now ‘considering his options’.

Sarbutts worked at Connectpoint for four years, and ran Harrison Cowley Leeds prior to that.

Communique currently has 16 staff in its Manchester office and six in London. Its clients include firms such as Minute Maid, Velcro and Focus DIY.

Unlike Honor (who was based in the London office), Sarbutts will be based in Manchester.

Sarbutts reports to Madrid-based B-M Europe president and chief executive Heidi Sinclair.
