F-H lures former Cameron adviser

A former David Cameron aide has joined Fleishman-Hillard as a senior consultant.

Sophie Pim was Cameron’s press and campaign manager during his successful leadership campaign in 2005.

Following his election as leader of the Conservatives, Pim went on to work in his private office as operations manager, reporting directly to chief media strategist Steve Hilton. More recently, she has worked as a media adviser to Clarence House.

Pim has already started at F-H. Nick Williams, head of public affairs at the agency, said: ‘Sophie will bring first-hand experience of the inner workings of the Cameron team.’
