Aids Day targets youth

World Aids Day is specifically targeting young people for the first time this year in a bid to increase awareness of the condition among new audiences.

Its comms team has partnered Dazed and Confused magazine and is targeting youth media to drive more traffic to its ‘virtual red ribbon' campaign.

It has also built a MySpace page, which includes newsletters, quizzes and info designed to challenge myths about Aids.

The UN-backed day is this Friday (1 December).
