Self-styled 'broadcast, entertainment and marketing' outfit the USP Group is throwing a singles event for PR and media types in London's Covent Garden next week.
Organiser Pam Sharpless, head of broadcast PR at the agency, wants '50 PR girls to "mingle" with 50 PR boys'.
But she tells us that the fact the PR industry is so flush full of women could pose a gender imbalance, numbers-wise, on the night.
'I've been inundated with girls, but the boys have been slow on the uptake,' she laments.
Attendance will cost £5 (to charity) and wannabe 'minglers' should contact Sharpless in advance.
