Millward Brown in AMEC award glory

Millward Brown Precis bagged the top gong at the 2006 AMEC Communication Effectiveness Awards this Monday.

The agency won the Platinum Award, sponsored by PRWeek, for its work with Toyota Australia.

Echo Research again dominated overall, winning six golds across nine categories. Romeike bagged two.

The ceremony was held at The Cumberland, London. AMEC this week announced that 12 people have so far signed up to its indiv­idual membership package (PRWeek, 22 September).

The first online course - ‘The Fundamentals of Evaluation' - of its new AMEC College initiative is also now up and running.
