Target has previously handled all its PR in-house but the company, which mainly provides software for financial advisers, is hoping to ramp up its consultancy work alongside its core business as a software specialist.
‘As a company that offers those two services we have a huge bank of knowledge and understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing the financial services sector.
‘We believe that a focused PR strategy will ensure we are positioned as a thought leader, and so have brought in agency support,' said the firm's head of sales and marketing James Rudolf.
The account is jointly led by Freshwater account director Annie Noble and the agency's head of technology Rachel Owen.
