The tech specialist has been tasked with running a UK B2B offensive for the London-based information and comms technology (ICT) operator.
The company was set up in 1997 and recorded annual revenues in excess of £50m last year. But it has ‘no presence in the media', it says.
‘We have experienced significant growth in the past few years and are keen to start positioning ourselves as a leader in the industry,' said marketing manager Geraint Davies.
Berkeley - whose CEO is Chris Hewitt - has been briefed to run a media relations campaign, concentrating on finance, technology and manufacturing trade titles.
SEPERATELY... the agency has also recently been retained by Valtech, the Texan software vendor and IT training firm.
Valtech, whose clients include BMW, Nationwide Insurance and JPMorganChase, has previously run its PR campaigns regionally via in-house teams. ‘We wanted to start to make more noise in the UK and to position ourselves as thought leaders in the software development debate,' said Valtech marketing manager Jenny Leschnko.
Berkeley has recently opened its fourth UK office - in London's Covent Garden, adding to its existing offices in Reading, Derby and Bristol.
