'Mr Testicle' turns attention to bums

Opportunistic initiative of the week goes to Male Cancer Awareness Campaign (MCAC), which has launched James Bum 002 (www.jamesbum002.com) to highlight the dangers of bowel cancer (Voluntary News, p8).

The site, complete with scantily dressed 'Bond girls' and suave men with the backside removed from their trousers, emerges as the brainchild of MCAC founder Patrick Cox - known as 'Mr Testicle'.

Cox, ahem, is often hard to recognise, though not hard to spot. Not only is he a strapping 6ft3in, but he has spent a lot of this year dressed as a giant gonad waving a collection bucket at startled shoppers. He wasn't around when Diary called, but if you see an oversized ballbag outside your local Tube station, don't be afraid - just contribute.
