Warwicks in teen pregnancy move

A body in the Midlands aimed at tackling local teenage pregnancy has brought in agency support.

Warwickshire Teenage Pregnancy Partnership has hired Sheffield-based Diva to promote its services, designed to reduce unplanned pregnancies and give advice and support to young parents.

‘There is a lot of positive work being done to reduce unplanned conceptions and to support young parents, and we wanted to shout about it without fear of reprisals from the media, which can portray young parents in a negative way,' said co-ordinator Amy Barnes.

Diva handles similar briefs in Leeds, Sheffield, Nottingham, Leicestershire and Derby.
