CONSUMER High-street chain Music Zone is in the early stages of reviewing its PR support. It is believed to have held talks with Manchester-based agencies Brazen and Staniforth. The incumbent is Imagen Group.
 
AGENCY Former Boots director of comms Jayne Mayled has become MD of 80-strong Nottingham design and copyrighting firm Jupiter Design. Her remit is to launch a corporate communications arm. She left Boots in September after almost two decades (PRWeek, 4 Aug).
  
AGENCY Specialist travel shop The Big PR Agency has hired easyJet consumer PR manager Jamie Wortley to replace MD Laura Shelbourne. Wortley spent three years at easyJet and joins as an associate director. Shelbourne is now freelance.
 
CONSUMER MTV Networks UK & Ireland comms director Eleanor Parker has gone on maternity leave. Mandy Hershon - recently promoted to senior comms manager - will head the department in her absence.

CONSUMER ProZone has taken on Macesport to target football managers. England manager Steve McClaren is a devotee of the player performance-analysing software. ProZone is currently used by 11 Premiership clubs.

CORPORATE Sainsbury's chief exec Justin King has been named Britain's ‘Communicator of the Year' by the British Association of Communicators in Business.

CONSUMER Bacofoil maker Baco Consumer Products is to lose its PR support after incumbent Biss Lancaster resigned. Baco would not comment on plans for a replacement.

CONSUMER Ice sculpture firm Icebox has brought in Tartan Silk PR to promote its new Scotland division. Icebox built a 6.5 tonne ice sculpture of Ford's new Focus Coupe-Cabriolet at the British International Motor Show this summer.
