Sarah Heath has been promoted to head of comms and corporate responsibility, replacing former head of comms Louise Evans. The latter quit this summer to join ITN as director of corporate affairs (PRWeek, 10 August).
Heath has been with the bookseller and stationer - which last month posted a 31 per cent hike in pre-tax profits from £39m to £51m in the year to the end of August - for just over two years.
She takes responsibility for all of WH Smith's brand comms, reporting to group HR director Tanith Dodge.
