Heather Mills adviser Hall denies being replaced

Phil Hall has moved to clarify his role advising Heather Mills - in the spotlight over the collapse of her marriage to Sir Paul McCartney - following stories suggesting he had been replaced.

Reports have said Mills's legal firm, Mishcon de Reya, had asked its agency, The PR Office, to replace Hall.

Hall said that while The PR Office is handling legal calls, he continues to handle Mills's personal PR, including work around the divorce.

He showed PRWeek an email from Mills's sister, Fiona, stating that Phil Hall Associates continues to be her adviser.

Hall said: ‘We are still working with her, but we cannot deal with all the calls - we get up to ten an hour, so we are handing over queries on legal issues.'

He maintained that the arrangement would enable him to ‘focus on the big media players'.

The PR Office chairman Shimon Cohen told PRWeek that his agency ‘has been installed by Mishcon de Reya to manage all media calls on this'.
