Apprentice winner mulls agency hire

After splitting with Sir Alan Sugar at the end of last month, Michelle Dewberry - the winner of series two of BBC hit The Apprentice - has also parted company with Sugar's firm Amstrad's long-trusted PR agency, Frank PR.

A month later - and with her own new post-Amstrad business venture, MDL, to promote - the former Kwik Save checkout girl is on the cusp of reaching a decision on a new PR adviser, Diary has learnt.

But how will Dewberry - who uses RDF Management - choose between those in the running to advise her? Is she in the midst of convening a two-way pitch for the account? Will she tell the losers that they're - to use Sugar's catchphrase - 'fired', before telling the winner 'you're hired'?

Diary suggests that Dewberry quickly sets her new adviser the simple task of sourcing a photo of her.

This was something that proved beyond RDF, despite Diary's repeated requests to the management company.
