Company stalwart Susan Taylor will be tasked with devising and implementing a PR strategy for the brand across Europe, China and Australasia. She takes up her new post on 1 November, reporting to New York-based CEO Scott Beattie.
Her promotion, she said, was ‘a significant move by Elizabeth Arden to grow its brands via consumer comms across international markets'. The cosmetics company has replaced Taylor in the UK MD role with Sally Cohen, previously at Vodafone.
Elizabeth Arden's Eight Hour Cream is a classic beauty product in the UK, with one unit sold every two minutes of the working day. The company wants Taylor to replicate this success in other territories, some of which do not have dedicated PROs.
Taylor joined Elizabeth Arden in 1992 and is formerly of Yardley, where she started in marketing and rose to become general manager for the UK and Ireland.
