Four agencies on Brit Library roster

The British Library has appointed a quartet of firms to its first PR roster: Colman Getty, Fishburn Hedges, Communique PR and Arthur Leone PR.

Projects will include promoting exhibitions, events and the Business and Intellectual Property Centre, which opened in March. The centre offers the public free access to its news and patent protection database.

The agencies, hired after a pitch process (PRWeek, 21 July), will report to PR manager for arts and heritage Catriona Finlayson and PR manager for business science and technology Lawrence Christensen.

The library, which has previously used Mission21 and Arthur Leone on projects, will be promoting autumn exhibition ‘London, a life in Maps' shortly. However, this will be handled in-house, said Christensen.
