Bellenden to run Nord Anglia learning campaigns

Nord Anglia Education, which runs a number of City academies, has appointed Bellenden Public Affairs to provide PA advice to its learning services division.

The brief is to improve awareness of the division in central and local government. The business is keen to position itself as an expert in providing school-based computer learning. It competes against firms such as Capita and Cambridge Education Associates.

Bellenden secured the contract without a pitch. Agency MD Mark Glover worked previously with Nord Anglia's recently installed learning services MD Jonathan Garnett.

The appointment follows Bellenden's hire of London Development Agency head of media strategy Greg Rosen as associate director at the five-strong firm.

Rosen led the LDA's media handling for the 2012 Olympic bid and is chair of the Fabian Society's research committee.

He is working specifically on regeneration and transport issues as well as leading the Nord Anglia account.
