Spanning over 21 countries, Dublin-based INM publishes more than 175 magazine and newspaper titles, runs broadcast radio stations, hosts over 70 Web sites, and is an outdoor advertising operator. Its main interests are in the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa.
While Paul Keary, managing director at FD, declined to get into specifics about INM's PR and IR program, he did say the agency would target major financial media outlets, like the Wall Street Journal, to tell the company's story.
INM, listed on the London and Dublin stock exchanges, is positioning its geographic diversity as a major selling point to potential investors.
The company reported 2005 revenues of €1.611 billion (over US$2.05 billion). Billings are undisclosed.
