A new ‘feather' logo has been developed by brand consultancy Inovus. Chief executive Philip Kirby said that the colourful symbol reflected ‘the brightening effect we hope to have on people's lives'.
The in-house comms team is promoting the new brand through charity media and titles based near the charity's head office in Stroud, Gloucestershire.
Members have been targeted through its supporter magazine Headlines.
The Meningitis Trust's support services include a free, 24-hour nurse-led helpline, professional counselling, home visits and financial grants.
At the start of the year it launched a bid to raise awareness of meningitis at work (PRWeek, 27 Jan).
